Organic balloon installations can last anywhere from a few days to several weeks depending on some key factors. Indoors, these can last for weeks even months, while outdoor setups are more affected by exposure to the elements like direct sunlight, heat, wind and humidity. High heat can cause the balloons to expand and pop, while prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause the colours to fade or the latex to degrade. Cold weather can also cause balloons to deflate more quickly. Floor areas should be free from small particles particularly on hard surfaces as this can cause the base balloons to pop.
